Sportsmanship Awards go to Little Tigers
The Colonial Valley Conference recently published its sportsmanship award winners for the fall and winter.  Princeton won the award for field hockey.  The team was coached by Heather Serverson, a health and physical education teacher at PHS. Her team won their division, were county runner-ups and advanced to the state sectional semi-finals. Our other winner for the fall was our girls cross country team which placed second in the state!  This team was coached by Jim Smirk, science teacher at PHS, and his assistant, Mary Johnson.

The winter winners were our girls basketball team coached by Dan Van Hise, teacher at Johnson Park Elementary, and his assistants, Clarence White and Steve Hennessy, PE teacher, also at Johson Park.  Our girls team enjoyed their finest season in years, qualifying for the state tournament.  Our other winner was our boys ice hockey team coached by PHS grad Terence Miller, fomer aide in our district and his assistants, former PHS grads Shane Leuck and Peter Miller.

Congrats to all the teams and coaches!
