Students use their "Chem-agination"

PHS students Kathy Huang, Cece Shen and Jane Dai have been named winners of the first round in the Chemagination Contest sponsored by the American Chemical Society. The contest called upon students to imagine they are living 25 years in the future and describe a recent innovation that improved people's quality of life. The PHS students described new forms of silk used in "transient electronics," from brain-monitoring devices to cell phones, programmed to bio-degrade at the end of their useful lifetime.
